Swissnex Shanghai, Switzerland's outpost for science, technology and culture in China, is an initiative of the Swiss State Secretariat for Education and Research of the Ministry of Home Affairs and the Swiss Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Similar institutions are located in Boston, San Francisco and Singapore. Our goal is to fully exploit the potential of cooperation between Switzerland and the respective host countries in the fields of higher education, research, technology, innovation and culture and to promote Switzerland as a leading country in those domains.

Tuesday, November 11 - Dinner with the new Ambassador of Switzerland

Thursday, November 13
Ms Flavia Schlegel, Executive Director swissnex Shanghai, and Mr Thomas Wagner,
President of the Swiss-Chinese Association, joined a dinner with Mr Wang Wen Tao,
Secretary of Huangpu District Committee of The CPC Shanghai.

Presence Switzerland organized a campaign training for its China program
2007 - 2011. The meeting took place at the conference room of swissnex
Shanghai. Representatives of the Consulate General of Switzerland, Swiss
Tourism, Swiss Air Lines and swissnex Shanghai participated the half day
affair on Friday afternoon, November 14.
