Sino-Swiss Water Side Event Aquatech China 2009
As the first follow-up activity of the water agreement, the Consulate General of Switzerland organized a Sino-Swiss Water Forum on June 4 in Shanghai, with the support of Chinese Ministry of Water Resources, authorities of the Yangtze Delta Region and Embassy of Switzerland in China.
This Forum will took place while Shanghai hosted Aquatech China 2009, the leading international exhibition brand for process, drinking and waste water. Aquatech China 2009 is one of the most important and largest water technology shows in Asia.
In an effort to enhance the closer co-operation with China in the field of water management, the Consulate General of Switzerland in Shanghai launched this event together with official Swiss and Chinese partners to provide a platform for Swiss companies to expose their technology, know-how and experiences amongst a large number of Chinese officials, partners and clients.
swissnex Shanghai's specialist for R&D and Universities of Applied Science, Claudio R. Boër, held a lecture on the Sino-Swiss Hydronet Project. The half day affair attracted various experts related to water treatment and water resources technology.
